USA6 -Terms & Conditions
1 April 2018 - 31 March 2020




All rentals are subject to the terms and conditions of the Rental Contract signed at the rental company office on departure with the vehicle. The Rental Contract is the governing document between the client and the rental company.  Rental prices, policies, and conditions are subject to change without notice.


Minimum Rental Periods

7 nights minimum
10 nights minimum during the period 24 August -3 September 2020

14 nights minimum for "All Inclusive" rental


Reservations / Payments

Prior to reservation the customer's credit card detail is taken as a guarantee.

5% of the total rental, minimum 300$ down payment is charged via client's credit card after booking is confirmed.
Credit card accepted: Visa or Mastercard.

Full payment is required 62 days prior to date of departure. no exceptions.

For short notice bookings, full payment is required upon confirmation.

A confirmation invoice will be issued and sent to the client by e-mail.


Cancellation Fees :

62 calendar days or more prior to rental date: 5% of the total rental, minimum 300 (the deposit)

61 to 32 calendar days prior to rental date 25% of the total rental

31 to 17 calendar days prior to rental date 55% of the total rental
16 to 8 calendar days prior to rental date 100% of the total rental
7 to 0 calendar days prior to rental date or Non Show - 100% of the total rental plus holiday surcharge

For one-way rental cancellation- the full one-way drop off fee plus taxes will be added to the regular cancellation charges.

In any case of cancellation, a handling fee of 100$ will be charged, in addition to the cancellation fee.
Cancellation fees will be calculated of total rental cost without any discounts if any applied.
Customers who fail to arrive on pick-up day or decline vehicle at pick-up for whatever reason are considered as a departure day cancellation (no show) and will be charged 100% of the rental days.

If vehicle is returned early for any reason whatsoever No refund available
If a bookings travel dates are amended to a lower season rates or less number of days, the cancellation fee for the
original booking will apply.

Separate cancellation policy applies for group bookings
Cancellation notice must be in writing and during working hours 9am-16 pm Europe time.

No Show - If the company is not able to establish communication with or hear from the client directly they can re-use the unit in the afternoon of the 3rd calendar day whereas the pick-up day counts as the first calendar day.


Amendments - Reservation changes
Any modification of reservations is subject to a USD$50 amendment fee.

This refers only to MINOR changes like adding items, or changing the pick up/drop off date in 1-2 days. Major changes like: changing dates, changing model, changing location, changing client's name would be considered as cancellation of the booking and will cause cancellation fees.
Changes may be made to a reservation confirmed to the Hirer, as long as the Rental Firm has alternative capacity and the alternative booking corresponds in amount to the first.
Rebooking are only possible in the same calendar year.
Regardless when a change of name, date(s) or location(s) is requested, this will result in the recalculation of the amount due. The rates and discounts applicable at the time of the revision will apply. For a request to change date(s) or location(s) less than 61 calendar days prior to the existing pick up date the cancellation terms apply.

No name change is accepted when a surcharge, e.g. Holiday Surcharge, or an extended minimal nightly rent rule applies. Such name change will be handled according to the cancellation terms and results in a new booking.


Extension of the rental period  

For an unauthorized late return after 12:00 pm the sum of the actual rental rate night plus 300 US$ for administration and handling will be charged for each day late, or part thereof.

If the customer contacts the rental company at least one business day before the vehicle is due for drop-off and obtains the proper authorization to extend in writing the regular rental rate will apply and is due at the time of extension.


Driver Requirements Age and License
Driver age is minimum 25 to maximum 79 years (21-24 years drivers only with prior authorization).

A valid, original national driver's license is required and must be presented for each driver (no photocopies). In addition we recommend that foreign customers have an international driver's license or an English translation of the license issued by their home country.
All drivers must meet the age requirement.

Security Deposit

A basic refundable security deposit of $1000 will be authorized/blocked (NOT charged) at departure via credit card only (VISA / Master/Euro card / American Express cards. No pre-paid credit cards are accepted).

For reservations 30 nights and longer the amount is charged on the credit card.
The deposit will be uses to pay for all local charges and deposits is required at departure.

A valid credit card is required for each rental.
Credit Card holder must be present at the time of RV pick-up.

Additional deposits may be required/charged for special events such as regional festivals, "Coachella", "Burning Man", "Stagecoach", "Further Future", "NASCAR", when a surcharge applies or if no mileage has been pre-paid, etc.
Vehicle will not be handed out in case of insufficient funds, the reservation will be cancelled and prepaid funds are forfeit.
The rental company is not responsible for exchange rate fluctuations or handling charges for any credit card transaction.

No refund will be given for delayed pick-ups / early returns, unused mileage or for "no shows".

During the August High Season (24 August -3 September 2020) - the security deposit is 1500$ For all pick ups in Las Vegas / Los Angeles / San francisco / Seattle. This amount is charged and not just authorized.

Additional Customer Deposit after an Accident - Regardless of the customer being at fault or not, before handing out a replacement unit we request from the customer an additional US$ 2,000 charged on the credit card. Such amount will be reimbursed at drop-off (minus any fees/charges).

Client MUST inform at the time of the booking his/her attention to travel to Burning Man or other festivals and sign a paper which explains the cleanliness of the vehicle on returning.  If the vehicle is not returned in the same condition as fas as cleanliness, the renter will be charged minimum 500 USD$. No exceptions.


Office Hours of all Locations

Monday through Friday from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm

Saturday from 8.00 am to 1.00 pm (or during high season as required).
From November to February - New York station is open from 9:00-16:00 (Monday-Friday) and by appointment (on Saturday).

DENVER and Seattle location is closed from December 3rd, 2018 to February 25th, 2019.

High Season Surcharge
A mandatory nonrefundable supplement of will be applied for customers attending the Burning Man Festival, for all pick ups between 24 August 2020 and 3 September 2020

200$ for pick up in Las Vegas and Seattle 
500$ for pick up in Los Angeles.

1000$ for pick up in San Francisco
This surcharge is pre-paid for all pickups.

During the August High Season (24 August - 3 September 2020) the security deposit is 1500$ For all pickups in Las Vegas / Los Angeles / San francisco / Seattle. This amount is charged and not just authorized.


New Jersey Season Surcharge

A mandatory nonrefundable supplement of 200$ will be applied for customers for all pick ups in New Jersey between 18 September 2020 and 10 October 2020


At pick up the main renter must be present with the original driver's license and physical credit card showing his/her name. We also require the original driver's license for any additional drivers in order for them to be insured and legally allowed to drive the motorhome. The rental company accept the original driver's license in English, Dutch, German, Spanish, Portuguese, French, or Italian. If the driver's license is in any language other than the above an international driver's license or an official English translation must be presented at pick-up alongside the original.

The rental company has the right, and legal obligation, to deny a renter the motorhome when the renter seems not capable to drive a motorhome, e.g. intoxicated, suspicion to be under drug influence, etc.
While it is possible that somebody else in the party drives the main renter will in such cases - no original driver license, not deemed to be fit to drive - not be listed on the rental agreement as driver and therefore not be covered by any insurance. Still the main renter remains fully responsible for the motorhome. If the main renter wants to be entered as driver he/she needs to return at a later time to one of our branches and obtain an updated rental agreement.

Vehicle pick up:
Monday to Friday , between 12:30 PM and 4 pm
Saturday - usually between 12 noon and 1 pm  (client need to call for an appointment.
afternoon pick-up on SAT is NOT available)
please note the shorter opening hours on Saturdays 

To avoid waiting times all customers are asked to check-in online and to call the branch to schedule the pick-up time.
A very limited number of earlier and free of charge appointments may be available by calling the pick-up branch two or three business days prior to pick-up.
At pick up the main renter must be present with the original driver license and physical credit card showing his/her name.

Arrival Day 
- First Night at a Hotel
Clients who arrive North America by inter-continental flights are not allowed to drive a motorhome on flight arrival day. Overseas customers must overnight before picking-up their rental unit

Drop Off :
Monday to Saturday, starts 8.00 am and has to be concluded at 10.30 am
Later drop offs will not be entitled to get complimentary transfer to the airport hotels or airport.

Important: Flights on the same day
Please do not book return flights with departures before 14.00 hrs, if you want to take advantage of the free drop-off transfer to the airport.

Late vehicle drop-off / Early Return
For an unauthorized late return after 12 pm the sum of -
1. The actual gross rental rate night plus
2. 300$US for administration and handling
will be charged for each day late or part thereof.
If the customer contacts the company before the vehicle is due for drop off and obtains the proper authorization to extend in writing the regular rental rate will apply.
No airport transfers are provided in the event of a late vehicle drop-off.
No refunds are made for early returns or unused portion of rentals.
The clients are advised to return the RV with the interior cleaned and holding tanks dumped to avoid any cleaning/dumping charges

Vehicle not at originally agreed drop-off Branch returned
Should the customer not return the vehicle at the branch which was agreed in writing, for example on the Rental Agreement, we will charge the customer for transferring the motorhome to the branch agreed in writing.

Early Check In
Once you made a reservation, you can pass on all necessary information to prepare your rental agreement beforehand and save time on pick-up day. Details will be given after booking has been confirmed.
Note that the online VIP check-in is open until 72 hours prior to the scheduled vehicle pick-up date.

Customer Orientation
Staff speaks German & English at all locations - Dutch, French & Spanish at some locations. After completing the paperwork the clients get a very thorough personal walk-thru of the motorhome. In addition every vehicle is equipped with an operation manual in English/German. In case of an emergency, accident or technical problems, clients may call the emergency toll free number 24-hours a day, 7 days a week
the Help Desk toll free number which is printed on the keychain.

Transfers information

* The rental company provides complimentary shuttle transfers from/to certain airport hotels and to the International Airports.
* Transfers are provided to (but not from) the airports DEN/EWR/LAX/LAS/MCO/SEA/SFO/OAK (neither JFK nor La Guardia) and at all rental locations from/to named airport hotels.
* No transfers from/to Downtown areas.
* Clients cannot pick up the RV the day they arrive with an inter-continental flight or from South America.  We recommend staying the first night at an airport hotel or motel.
* Priority shuttle service will be guaranteed to customers who have made contact at least 72 hours in advance via the online check in system with their transfer location and how they can be reached so they can be informed about the exact pick up time for the transfer. If customer choose not to supply the transfer location 72 hours in advance, the complementary shuttle service can not be guaranteed.
* The complimentary permitted amount of luggage is in accordance with the airline regulations for economy passengers (1 suitcase max. 50 lbs. / 23 kg plus 2 pieces of hand luggage per person). Excessive luggage is the customer's responsibility.
* The parents or guardians are responsible to provide to the transfer according to the applicable laws a child seat or booster.
* The rental company can not bring the child seat or booster from the branch to the transfer point. The customer should bring it with him from home or having it shipped to the hotel.
* The complimentary shuttle leaves the transfer location from Monday to Friday normally after 12:30. On Saturday based on appointment.
If customer has provided the transfer location and how he can be reached but not received the exact pick up time for the transfer at 4 pm the day before vehicle pick up, we advise the customer to call the pick up rental station between 8 am and 9 am on the pick up day.
If customers choose not to supply pick-up location 5 working days in advance, a complimentary shuttle service cannot be guaranteed.

Transfer from Branch 

Vehicle Drop-off time is starts 8 am and has to be concluded at 10.30 am from Monday to Saturday.

The complimentary airport (hotel) shuttle leaves once a day at 11 am.
Later drop offs will not be entitled to get complimentary transfer to the airport hotels or airport.

Public transportation from San Francisco Downtown to SFO branch:
The convenient and inexpensive BART allows customers who stay in SFO downtown to arrive within 25 minutes at the BART train station in San Leandro instead of taking a 45 minutes taxi back to SFO airport hotels (US$ 75+) to catch the free shuttle (another 30-40 minutes). A free shuttle service between our branch and the BART train station San Leandro is provided when the customer informs us accordingly. The train schedule can be looked up at: (select Fremont - Daly City or Dublin - Daly City).

* Before signing the contract please check the vehicle from the inside and outside and make sure there are no damages or broken parts. If there is some damage, have it noted to the rental agent in writing.
* Make sure you have all the items you paid for, and that nothing is missing.
* Before the departure make sure you know how to operate all the motorhome systems, mechanicals and electrical: refrigerator, heating, air condition, water etc. If its not clear, you may ask for explanations.
* Please ask for a map or directions to nearby campground and supermarkets for you to stock up on food and bottled water.

Fuel (Petrol) & Gas (Propane) Information

The cost of gasoline and propane is not included and the rental company does not assume responsibility for estimates of consumption.
All vehicles are delivered with full tanks and the customer is expected to return the vehicle with full tanks or will be charged accordingly.




Public Liability Insurance (secondary coverage included in the daily rate)

Public Liability Insurance covers a 3rd party collision in the event that the renter is at fault. The policy protects the rental company up to US$ 1,000,000 and the renter to Statutory Limits (State mandated minimum liability coverage). Liability Insurance has no deductible and current limits can be checked under the following web-address:


Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI) - 10$ per night

The optional SLI coverage provides the customer with an increased limit of liability protection. SLI protects the renter and any authorized driver listed on the rental contract for up to US$ 1,000,000 (1million $) toward 3rd party damage claims.


Premium VIP Coverage (included in the daily rate)
VIP includes secondary comprehensive and collision coverage for the rented vehicle with a deductible of US$ 1,000 per incident (a US$ 1,000 Security Deposit will be authorized on a major credit card).

Coverage includes but is not limited to:

* Accidental damages to the vehicle (renter's or 3rd party's fault)

* "Uninsured Motorist" in case the renter is involved in an accident with a non-insured driver

* Windshield & glass damage

* Vehicle theft and fire (personal property and items in the vehicle are always excluded)

* Vandalism

No insurance coverage is provided (liability or comprehensive & collision) while traveling into non-authorized areas including but not limited to the country of Mexico, the inner cities of New York, Montreal and Quebec (Canada).


Non-Covered Damages (including but not limited to)

No liability, comprehensive or collision insurance coverage is provided and the costumer has full legal and financial responsibility in case of:

* Damages to the interior of the vehicle

* Personal injury, personal items and property

 * Carrying more passengers than having seat belts available

* Deliberate and willful damages caused by the renter or his guests

* Damages caused to the vehicle by abuse or misuse for illegal activities

* Damages where the costumer is charged by the local authorities for being careless

* Damages caused by freezing (e.g. unit not winterized) or overheating of vehicle or systems (please refer to "Winterization" as well)

* Driving the vehicle without rental agreement, in breach or violation of the rental agreement.

* Damages and accidents caused under the influence of alcohol, drugs or other controlled substances

* Damages caused by neglecting proper operating procedures, e.g. incorrect fuel type & quality, ignoring oil or coolant levels, air pressure etc.

* Damages and injuries caused by overloading the vehicle and/or exceeding the legal towing capacity (towing limit - 1500 lb maximum with proper equipment - Enclosed trailers, boats or vehicles are not allowed)

* Damages where the costumer is showing gross negligence or willfulness in faining to abide by the local laws and rules or disregarding common sense resulting in damage to the vehicle or third-party vehicle or property

* Operation of the vehicle by anyone not meeting the age requirements as shown on the rate sheets and rental terms & conditions

* Operation of the vehicle by anyone not listed on the rental contract or having a valid and original driver license

* Damages and losses caused during travel in or thru restricted areas and damages due to "off-road" usage or caused during travel in or thru restricted areas, following incorrect GPS guidance, travelling into non-authorized areas including but not limited to the country of Mexico, the inner cities of New York, Montreal and Quebec (Canada)


Vacation Interruption Protection (VIP)
If the renter's motorhome vacation is interrupted by an automotive mechanical breakdown

(not collision, accident or damages caused by the renter) for more than 12 business hours after reporting such to the rental company, the renter will be reimbursed for the greater of the gross daily rental rate or expenses for hotel rooms up to US$ 25 per person per night and car rental up to US$ 50 per day per motorhome with a combined maximum of US$ 1,500 per tour.

Such reimbursement is only possible when the company had a chance to take care of the problem and the customer cooperated to do so.

Mechanical breakdown is define as emergency when the motorhome is no longer drivable, for example when the engine stopped working, An inconvenience is when the customer needs to spend additional time, for example purchasing daily ice due to a refrigerator not working.

Defects and repairs of Wi-Fi, GPS, radio, TV, CD or DVD player, Bluetooth, USB, generator, batteries, Air condition, refrigerator, heater, water heater, slide-out room, awning, cruise control etc.. are not considered mechanical breakdowns and are excluded from VIP reimbursement. Refund of expenses is in any case only possible against proper receipts.

Please take note:

In case of a claim, the rental company will not act as an adjuster for any third party insurances purchased by the renter (such as $ 0.00 deductible insurance, etc.).


Parking / Traffic Violations
It is the client's responsibility to report and pay for all parking/traffic violations at drop off. Failing to report these violations at drop off will cause a charge of a USD$ 100

administrative fee per violation plus the fine (including all late charges) to the client's credit card.



Toll Roads System in Florida

Since February 2011 the Florida Turnpike Enterprise has implemented an all-electronic open road tolling for the southern 47 miles stretch of the Turnpike, from US1 in Florida City to the Miami-Dade/Broward County line. The old tollbooths have been eliminated and the toll-fees cannot be paid in cash any longer.

There are the following options for payment to travel on the Turnpike:

1. Customers picking up in Orlando may conveniently rent a Sun Pass transponder at the branch.

2. A SunPass Transponder can be obtained by calling 1-888-865-5352 or visiting The transponder will allow traveling on toll roads by paying money into the personal SunPass account.

3. The "TOLL-BY-PLATE" program can be used as an alternative. This program captures an image of the vehicle license plate and bills the registered owner of the vehicle for the toll amount. The "TOLL-BY-PLATE"program allows the customer to call in to register for a "OLL-BY-PLATE"account and to pay for tolls before an invoice will be issued. Payments can be made by cash, credit/debit card on-line or through new payment kiosks located at major retail stores.


Florida State Law (Statue 316.1001) requires payment of prescribed tolls for the usage of toll facilities. Failure to comply with this statute may result in the assessment of a US$ 100 or more civil penalty, assessment of court costs, and suspension of the vehicle registration and/or suspension of the driver's license. It will be important for the customer to inform the drop-off location of the fact that they traveled on the Florida Turnpike regardless of what option they choose. In case that an invoice for toll fees will be sent to the rental company as the registered owner of the vehicle, all fees due will be charged to the customer's credit card on file and processed according to our rental provisions with regards to traffic citations (incl. administrative fees).


Maintenance and Cleaning Responsibility
The customer is responsible for checking engine oil and coolant levels at each refueling as well as reporting mechanical failures immediately. Coolant refills and authorized repairs will be reimbursed upon return of the vehicle and presentation of all receipts (see mechanical breakdown). It is the driver's responsibility to operate the vehicle in a safe manner and to exercise all caution possible.

Vehicles must be returned clean inside. Otherwise, cleaning charges may occur.

Cleaning Fee

The clients are responsible to return the vehicle with the interior cleaned and holding tanks dumped. The vehicle outside does not require cleaning by the customer. Cleaning- and/or dumping charges will apply as posted at the drop off location.


Mechanical Breakdown

Necessary repairs are refunded without previous authorization up to US$ 50

For maintenance & repairs exceeding US$ 50 the customer must call the rental company 
24-hour toll free telephone assistance to get an authorization.
Non-authorized invoices over US$ 50 will not be reimbursed.
Receipts and replaced parts must be presented for reimbursement.
Customer will be held responsible for mechanical damage due to negligence in operation and/or maintenance.

Technical Difficulties with the Vehicle and its Features

While our first and foremost priority is to provide the customers an excellent and high quality vehicle and service, unexpected technical difficulties can arise. To ensure that the customers can enjoy their motorhome experience, the rental company provides an extensive vehicle explanation and with every vehicle an operations manual and the phone number of our 24-hours/7-days help line which is free of charge from any landline in the USA.

Please note: The rental company is not returning phone calls or accepting requests to call a customer back because customers may be hiking, visiting a museum, etc. and not at the vehicle when call is made. The customers shall call when at or nearby the vehicle.

When the rental company receive a phone call they differentiate between an inconvenience and an emergency:

* An Inconvenience is defined as something that requires the customer to spend additional time, a workaround or a non-safety related feature is not available.
Examples are purchasing ice because the refrigerator is not working, the DVD player not working or the slide-out is not extending and therefore the interior space not increased.

* An Emergency is defined when the motorhome cannot be driven safely anymore.
An example is when the engine stopped working. In this case the Vacation Interruption (VIP) Insurance applies.


In Case of Emergency / Accidents

Insurance coverage may be void if the following instructions are not followed:
The customer must

* Obtain from the police officer investigating the accident a local police report,

* Notify the Rental Company as soon as possible but not later than 24 hours after the accident,

* Provide not later than the return of the vehicle the completed accident report form which is supplied to the customer and located in the vehicle along with the registration & insurance papers; such full-written report must contain the other party's name, address, phone number, driver's license number, date of accident, etc.

All documents relating to the accident must include a police report or identifying number.


Substitutions / Upgrade / Downgrade

If for any reason the booked vehicle should not be available, The rental company reserves the right to substitute a higher-rated vehicle at no additional cost.
Should a lower-rated vehicle be substituted, the liability is limited to the refund of the gross rate difference of the two vehicles.
No vehicle substitution does entitle to any other compensation than the one mentioned above.

Vehicle Length

If a customer requires the exact measurements to make arrangements with a ferry or other service such customer needs to touch base directly with the rental company so the company is aware that the assigned vehicle cannot be substituted with a longer one!

Restricted Areas

Mexico: Traveling into Mexico is not permitted.

Death Valley: Traveling into Death Valley is not permitted between June 15th and September 15th

Alaska: Traveling within Alaska, Yukon and/or NWT is permitted. The rental company must be advised at the time of reservation.

Other restrictions: Driving into private-, gravel-, dirt- or logging roads and other non-public roads, beaches, etc. is not permitted.

Inner city of New York / Montreal & Quebec City (Canada) is not permitted.

The customer will be fully responsible for accidents, mechanical breakdowns or thefts occurring in a travel restricted areas !


Child seat regulations

All states in the United States have child restraint laws.
The laws vary by state, age and/or height of the child

The customer is responsible for being aware of the laws in the state they plan to visit (or travel thru).

Safety seats are not available for hire. Please bring your child/ booster seat from home (you may need it for shuttle and/or taxi airlines normally ship it for free).

All RV units will offer 1 Tether Anker to secure one child seat.

Note: Tether Anker is located at the dinette table (pictures is for demonstration purpose- actually location may vary).

Child seat cannot be used on the passenger seat

Child seat must work with the lap belt system.
It is the parents /guardians responsibility to attached the safety seats.

The parents or guardians are responsible that the applicable laws in regards to child or booster seat are followed.


Pets are not allowed. A US$ 250 minimum cleaning/deodorizing fee applies


Smoking is not allowed in any vehicle. A US$ 250 minimum cleaning/deodorizing fee applies.


Luggage Storage

Clients can usually leave luggage at the rental locations if they have the space, all at owner's risk.

Towing / Storing

There is a tow hitch at the back of the RV and the maximum weight it can carry is 1500lbs


In areas with temperatures below freezing point (from mid October till mid April (depanding on the weather) and in the north stations) the water-/waste water system will be drained and CANNOT be used !
This will include the water pipes, toilet, fresh water tanks, sink, shower, external shower, hot water heater and holding tanks. Winterization requires that water be drained from the fresh water tank, hot water heater and both waste tanks. Once the vehicle is winterized, no water can be put into the fresh water tank and it cannot be hooked up to the city water supply anymore. Therefore, no water at all is available in the motorhome. The toilet, however, can still be used as long as windshield washer antifreeze is poured down to rinse.
Pink RV antifreeze has been run through all the pipes and put into the black and grey tanks. If the renter removes this antifreeze and put water into the system, the tanks and pipes will crack. If this happens, the customer will be responsible for repairing these systems and any other damages caused by cracking pipes/tanks.
$100 re-winterization fee & damages caused by freezing will be charged if customer de-winterizes system on the road.
